Winter solstice 2018. A time to reflect, release and renew. Today marks the shortest day of the year and a time to reflect on and honor where we have been, committing to letting go of what is behind us and making new commitments and intentions for moving forward.
Honoring all the experiences from the last 12 months. All the joyful, interesting, creative, successful, frustrating, heartbreaking adventures. Releasing things that no longer exist, or no longer serve our best interest or greater purpose. Releasing the disappointment, the grief, lost love, lost friends, the goals we didn’t quiet reach, shame, blame and holding ourselves back. Committing to turn the old into new goals, or new ideas on how to reach old goals. Really diving deep and asking ourselves are there behaviors I want change this year? Habits I want to break? Building ourselves a new road map for 2019.
I invite you to embrace the rest of this quiet and deeply reflective winter season. To take the time to consider these things for yourself. Saying goodbye to the old and shifting into the new. Maybe for you that looks like making a list, drawing a picture or creating a vision board. Whatever it is that will help you decide what you want your life to look like by the end of next year. Where you want to be. What you want to be doing. How you want to feel. What you want to be giving back to your friends, family, community, the world. How you want to take the next steps in your journey and evolution. What you want to be celebrating at the end of 2019.
This is a really important time and I hope you all give yourselves the time to reflect, honor and release the past and create a vision for your future. If you need support to set a vision, create a plan or to take the next steps I would be honored and privileged to be your life coach for 2019. Send me a message or email and lets connect. Blessings to you!
